Direct Flow Story The innovative patented DIRECTFLOW switchless motor and plumbing system of the Platinum Class makes use of highly efficient, long-lasting pumps and motors located directly under each hydrotherapy seat, or positioned relative to a special feature such as the foot massage dome. Each seat is controlled by an on/off switch as well as an air control for the pump and a variable jet flow control located in easy reach of the spa user. The unique benefit of this personalized system is that each spa seat has its own pump and plumbing, thereby eliminating the entwining network of plumbing lines that connect several seats to one pump, as in a traditional spa plumbing system. Energy consumption is minimized since only the seats that are in use are operating. No longer is it necessary for multiple seats to share a pump; spa users have total control of the water pressure and jet flow in each seat, giving you the ability to completely customize your hydrotherapy experience. Our DIRECTFLOW plumbing system eliminates noise created by water flowing from large pumps and dead-ending into diverter valves before distribution into the seats. In addition, the switchless motor further reduces operating noise by virtually eliminating vibration and electrical operation noise common to traditional spas. The switchless design does not require a mechanical switch to take it from the start position to run position, thus increasing the efficiency of the motor while alleviating the noise factor.
