As Artesian Spas responds to the changing landscape of COVID-19, the safety and health of our employees, partners, and customers will always remain our top priority. We are committed to being there when our people need us the most. We also want you to know that we are dedicated to moving your order through production as quickly as possible. Please know that we and your dealer are doing the best we can to meet your needs, and we ask for your patience and understanding in these trying times.

This is especially relevant during a time where the COVID-19 pandemic is directly affecting so many across the world. We realize our global mission for wellness starts from within, so we’ve implemented new policies and guidelines in our offices and production warehouses in order to protect our employees who are on the production frontlines serving customers or who cannot perform their jobs from home.
The path forward
We are requesting all employees to follow these measures diligently in order to sustain a healthy and safe workplace:
- Practice social distancing.
- Wear provided masks at all times when in hallways and on production floors.
- Wash hands after using the toilet, before eating, if you cough/sneeze into your hands (follow the 20-second hand washing rule).
- Use hand sanitizers stationed around the office.
- Cough/sneeze into sleeves, preferably your elbow. Discard tissues properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
- Avoid touching the face – particularly the nose, eyes, and mouth with your hands.
- Sanitize work surfaces frequently.

Q: When am I getting the spa I ordered and why do delivery dates change so much?
A: The simple answer is that we cannot get parts in a timely manner to be able to manufacture our spas and pools in the timely fashion in which we have all been accustomed. Since all manufacturers are in the same situation, with incredible increases in sales and orders, our vendors have not been prepared to handle the demand.
Our team works incredibly hard to keep the line moving and work around the daily shortages we face. We are currently running two 10-hour shifts six days a week to produce orders however work schedules may be interrupted not only by lack of parts, but by COVID-19. Please contact your local dealer for the most updated information regarding delivery times and the status of your order.
Q: When will I get my spa if I order now?
A: The lead time varies per dealer due to many factors including dealer location and your local dealer’s inventory on spas and pools. Please contact your local dealer for the most updated information regarding lead times.
Q: Can COVID-19 spread in hot tubs?
A: It is safe to use your private hot tub as long as you properly maintain operation and disinfection of your water. We recommend the use of chlorine, in addition to bromine, ozone or other hot tub sanitizers just to be safe. The standard recommended chlorine/bromine levels are fine (1.5 ppm – 3.0 ppm).
According to the CDC website, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”
Q: Are your offices and production facilities open for business?
A: Yes, we are open for business so long as local regulations allow us to be. Our facilities are operating under new policies and guidelines to sustain a safe and healthy workplace. Extra precautions are being taken to sanitize door knobs and surfaces, follow social distancing, and adhere to hygiene safety. Our production team has also quickly pivoted to working in 2 shifts so that we can continue operating under safe conditions.

For that reason, we have implemented social distancing protocols and measures in our offices and production warehouses in order to protect our employees who are on the frontlines serving customers or who cannot perform their jobs from home. We are requesting all employees to follow these measures diligently in order to sustain a healthy and safe workplace: wear a mask in hallways and production floors, wash hands for 20-seconds after using the toilet, before eating, or after coughing/sneezing, avoid touching the face, and practice 6-ft social distancing. To monitor the overall safety and well-being of the workplace, we are also conducting daily surveys of changes to staff/labor health conditions.
